How do I register for my own account?
On the login screen, click First Time Here?, and enter your email address on the subsequent screen. If we already have a Connection account set up for you, we will e-mail your user name and password to you. If you do not have an account, you will be asked to fill out the registration form.

How do I fill out the registration form?
You'll be asked for your Advent copy number, your e-mail address, and your name. We will verify your copy number and e-mail address, so please enter them exactly as they are in our client records.

  • If your information matches our records, you'll receive an instant acceptance e-mail.
  • If your information does not match our records, or you are not yet in our records, you'll receive a message with further instructions. If you believe this information is in error, you may contact Advent Connection Support at (800) 685-7688 x 1483 or e-mail webmaster@advent.com.

I don't know my copy number.
Your Advent copy number (or "customer number") is the unique identifier that Advent uses for your company. If you don't know your copy number, you can find it in your product.

  • In Axys or Moxy, choose Help > About [Product].
  • In Advent Portfolio Exchange, choose Admin > About APX.

I forgot my user name / password.
Click the Forgot your user name or password? link. Enter your e-mail address (exactly as it is in our client records), and we will e-mail you your user name and password right away.

What if I'm not listed in Advent's client records?
Your company's primary Advent contact must enter you into Advent's client records. Not sure who your firm's primary Advent contact is? He/she is listed on the Your Profile page. (If you're not able to access the site yet, e-mail webmaster@advent.com.) Ask your primary contact to add you to Advent's records by clicking the "Add/Remove Employees" link on the the Your Profile page.

How many people from my company can register?
There is no limit, and no cost. Each person is encouraged to have an individual Advent Connection account.

How can I change my Connection user name or password?
Once you are in the site, click Your Profile, then click Change Your Connection User Name or Change Your Connection Password.

How can I change my contact information?
Once you are in the site, click Your Profile, then click Edit Your Contact Information.

Can I access all parts of Advent Connection?
Most of the site is available to all clients, with the following exceptions.

  • Some Geneva pages and areas are available to Geneva clients only.
  • You cannot access download pages for a product if you don't have an active maintenance agreement for that product.
